Durston is the market leader in precision rolling mills and no wonder; the FSM 160 Double-Sided Power Mill is constructed from cast iron for optimal strength and rigidity. The mill is available in two-speed configurations; fixed speed and variable speed. There is also a computer control panel which offers more information such as roll speed, pressure, oil indicator and light work. This mill is floor standing and offers automatic lubrication to the roller bearings, 160mm of flat roll area and 22 square grooves. The powerful 4 KW motor can provides continuous operation, which is why Durston mills have such a long working life. This versatile package has variable speeds with forward and reverse and a highly efficient, near silent operation. The heavy-duty cast iron gearbox means a smooth delivery of power to create a perfect finish every time. The rolls are specially induction hardened to 64 RC; the right barrel provides a large flat rolling service of 160mm on rollers with a diameter of 86mm to a maximum roll thickness of 25mm, ensuring your rolls last a lifetime. The right-hand barrels are dedicated to square wire forming and offers 22 grooves ranging from 9mm to 1mm. A set of extension rollers provide a total of four half-rounds; 4, 3, 2 and 1.5mm.
